AInslie to carry Team GB flag

Hampshire sailor Ben AInslie is to carry the Team GB flag at the Olympic Games closing ceremony.

Ainslie, 35, from Lymington, won his fourth gold medal at consecutive Games by winning the Finn class.

In 1996 AInslie won a silver in the Laser class at Atlanta. He then won consecutive golds at Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.

He said it was 'a really proud moment' at the end of amazing Olympic Games. He thanked the entire nation for getting behind Team GB.
