Fatboy Slim to play Pride Brighton & Hove
Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) will be playing Pride Brighton & Hove on Saturday, September 1.
He will join Brighton’s other international DJ sensations, the Freemasons in the Wild Fruit Dance tent.
Still basking in the glory of creating and hosting Brighton's first ever Stadium party at the Amex, he's back once again in his home-town.
Norman says “Thank heavens for the Olympics. After many years of missing Pride because
it always fell on the busiest weekend of my year the date has moved to September so I can finally join the fun. I am looking forward to shaking my lallies with the best of them in my home town.......”
Also supporting the 20th anniversary Pride in the city is legendary Brighton duo the Freemasons. The Grammy nominated act, who have played the Sydney Mardi Gras and New York Pride will be bringing it home to Brighton to play a storming set.
Michael Deol and Robert Webb, owners of Club Revenge, who are underwriting Pride Brighton & Hove 2012 comment; “We are delighted to announce that Norman will join the Freemasons in playing at the Wild Fruit Dance Tent on 1 September. His appearance is a testament to the support that he has always shown to the city of Brighton and Hove and it’s LGBT community.”
