The Royal Henley Regatta has begun

Boater hats and blazers were out in force today for the start of the Henley Royal Regatta.

The British rowing squad may be absent - training at their** **pre-Olympic camps but there was still a near record entry of rowers at the regatta, which is as much a social event as a sporting occasion. Kate Bunkall reports on the start of the Henley Regatta.
