Boy of 7 thanks rescuers after car crash
A seven-year-old boy has thanked the Dorset Police helicopter team for helping him after he was injured in a car crash. Robbie Gibson from Poole visited the force's headquarters at Winfrith to convey his gratitude in person.
He was a passenger in a car that was in collision with another vehicle on the A31 on Easter Sunday back in April. Robbie had serious internal injuries and was airlifted to the Dorset County Hospital where he spent two days in intensive care followed by three weeks of additional treatment.
