Southampton Football Club's new record signing Jay Rodriguez, says he can't wait for pre-season training to start. The 22 year-old said he was attracted to team by its drive to move up the leagues.

Rodriguez is the Saint's first big signing since the side's promotion to the Premier League. The move has come for the cost of a reported seven million pounds.
