Historic first for Southampton's 'Queen' cruise liners

The celebrations for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee are continuing today.

In Southampton hundreds of people lined the docks to witness an historic moment as they welcomed in all three 'Queen' Cunard cruise ships gathering together at their home port for the first time.

Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth made the rendez-vous in the early hours of this morning. The noise from their sirens as they assembled could be heard across the city. Queen Mary 2 displayed a banner reading "Congratulations Ma'am".
