Titanic survivor - Elizabeth Nye

When the Titanic liner sank after setting sail from Southampton one hundred years ago, more than fifteen hundred people died. Life for the seven hundred or so people who survived would never be the same again.

The survivors struggled to return to normality after the tragedy and were haunted by the horrors of what they had seen. One woman from Kent, though, was inspired by faith and a determination to succeed. Derek Johnson takes up Elizabeth Nye's inspiring story.
