Hastings Half Marathon 2012

Four and a half thousand runners took part in the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday. They ranged in ability from fun-runners to world-class athletes. The winner was Bernard Chemugo, a Kenyan running at Hastings for the first time. But 200 runners travelling down using Southeastern trains were left stranded and unable to take part because of emergency engineering works. John Ryall reports.
