Hobbit's legal battle

A Southampton pub is at the centre of a legal fight over its future with a US film company

Lawyers are demanding the Hobbit pub changes its name.

They are threatening to take the pub to court unless the landlord takes action.

It comes months before the the multi-million pound blockbuster The Hobbit, based on JRR Tolkien's book is released.

The pub, which has been trading under the name for more than 20 years, says it is being threatened with legal action by the Saul Zaentz Company
