Antarctic explorers are back home
A group of explorers who have endured temperatures of minus 40 degrees in the coldest and windiest place on earth have arrived home after a gruelling two month expedition to the Antarctic.
A total of 24 people from the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force took part in the trip to carry out scientific research and to commemmorate 100 years since Captain's Scott's race to the pole. The project was called the British Services Antarctic Expedition 2012.
Nick Harper has been exclusively following their expedition and met them as they touched down this morning.
