Katya is one of ITV's on-screen journalists, based in the Channel Islands. She grew up in Stoke-on-Trent, before moving to Leeds for university and on to Kent for her first job in news. Day-to-day, she can be seen out and about reporting on everything from politics to animals and the environment. Katya can also be seen presenting ITV Channel's lunchtime, late and weekend news bulletins.
