Daniel is Investigations Editor for ITV News. His award-winning work includes investigations into social housing, end of life care and child poverty. In 2022 he was named Royal Television Society Specialist Journalist of the Year. Daniel has presented the ITV News podcasts 'Will Trump Win?', 'What You Need to Know' and 'Calling Peston.' He previously worked as a Political Correspondent based in Westminster. In 2018 his reporting on poverty in the North West of England was nominated for The Orwell Prize.
