A spokesman for Thames Water said:
“We are sorry to anyone affected by the flooding in the New Malden area and to any customers who may be experiencing low pressure or no water.
“This is due to a burst 30” water main in Coombe Road. Our engineers are on site and are working to isolate the burst pipe and stop the leak. We will be working around the clock to restore the water supply to homes and return the area to normal as quickly as we can.”
