An unexploded Second World War bomb has been found in south London, causing road closures and delays to traffic.

More than 50 people have been evacuated from nearby buildings after the ordnance was found today on a construction site in Grange Walk, Bermondsey.

A bomb squad is at the scene and a police cordon of 400 metres has been set up. Tower Bridge Road has been closed between the bridge and Bricklayers Arms.
