Didier Drogba will begin his second spell at Chelsea next season after agreeing a one-year deal with Jose Mourinho's side.

The 36-year-old striker and Blues favourite returns to Stamford Bridge after leaving in 2012 for stints at Shanghai Shenhua and Galatasaray.

Mourinho 'thinking about' Drogba return to Chelsea

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is considering a possible return Didier Drogba, he revealed today.

Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "We think about it.

"We want to win matches and win titles and Didier is one of the best strikers in Europe.

"If I bring him back, and the decision has to be made soon, it is because as a player he has qualities to make the team stronger".
