It has taken six days to transform London's iconic Horse Guards Parade into an athletics venue, ahead of today's Anniversary Games marking the start of the London Olympics in 2012. Instead of being held at the Olympic Stadium, athletes will gather at a temporary stadium at Horse Guards Parade and a track on the Mall.
