Putney Bridge to close to all traffic for major repairs
The decision to fully close the bridge to all traffic was backed during a public consultation late last year.
Bus shuttle service to operate during bridge closure
Wandsworth Council says buses will operate a shuttle service from both ends of the bridge. That means passengers will need to cross it on foot to continue their journeys.
Transport for London is putting arrangements in place to ensure that people only pay one fare for the two legs of their journey. Read more about bus arrangements here.
