A man has been found guilty of raping and trying to kill a 70-year-old woman in her Chessington home.

A man has been found guilty of raping and trying to murder a 70-year-old pensioner in her Chessington home. Robert Richards, 22, broke into her bedroom early in the morning before raping and beating her. The woman was found with extensive injuries.
He will be sentenced at Kingston Crown Court on Monday.
