Cyclist widow calls Elephant and Castle roundabout 'deathtrap'

The widow of the latest cyclist to be killed on London's roads has claimed that the roundabout where he died is a 'deathtrap'.

Fatima Malah today laid flowers today at the spot in Elephant and Castle where her husband lost his life.

47-year-old Abdelkhalak Lahyani died in an accident with a lorry four days ago.

And as demonstrators gathered to protest about poor safety provision for London's bike users, another cylist was injured in a crash with a van in Shoreditch. James Banks has our report:
