A construction worker who died after a building partially collapsed on Grosvenor Square has been named as Lithuanian national and father-of-two Dainius Rupsys.
A construction worker who died after a building partially collapsed on Grosvenor Square has been named as Lithuanian national and father-of-two Dainius Rupsys.
The victim of the Grosvenor Square building collapse was a popular and valued member of the team, McGee construction company said.
Father-of-two Dainius Rupsys was killed after the second floor of the building in the square collapsed at around 3.45pm on Monday.
A company statement read:
Dainius was a popular and valued member of the team and will be missed by us all.
Our thoughts are with his whole family at this very difficult time.
McGee is in contact with members of his family and will be offering counselling and other support.
We will also be offering counselling and support to other employees who work on the site.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
