The chief executive of site contractor McGee, the company carrying out work on the building which partially collapsed at Grosvenor Square, has sent sympathies to the family of the man who died in the accident. Declan Sherry said:
Work on site has been suspended and we are, of course, working closely with the investigating authorities to ensure that a full inquiry is conducted into this tragic incident.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with both families and friends at this difficult time.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
