The victim of the Grosvenor Square building collapse was pronounced dead at the scene, London Ambulance Service confirmed.
Another man was treated for minor injuries and has been taken to a London hospital.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said:
We were called at 15.43 to Grosvenor Square to reports of an incident.
We sent three ambulance crews, three single responders in cars, HART, London’s Air Ambulance and 2 DSOs.
Sadly, one person, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the HEMS doctor.
Staff treated a second patient, a man, for minor injuries who was taken to University College Hospital.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
