"Small Bite, Big Threat" is the slogan for this year's World Health Day, which is celebrated on 7th April 2014. The World Health Organization (WHO) wants to draw attention to the global problem of diseases, spread by small organisms like mosquitoes, ticks and flies.

WHO is running events in airports across the world, telling people how they can protect themselves and their family when they travel. It's estimated vector-borne diseases kill a million people each year and put more than half the world's population at risk.
