Britain's most expensive parking place, which is near the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, has gone on sale for £400,000.

The figure is nearly 2.5 times the average UK house price and 15 times the average salary in the UK.

The freehold, which has room for two cars, is described as a 'large secure underground parking space ideally situated for an Albert Court or Albert Hall Mansions resident'.
