A safety lobby group is urging police officers to use discretion when giving out fines to cyclists who ride on pavements.

Cara Houlihan I think they should scrap the bikes. My kids were screamed at to move out way when playing on path. Ridiculous. Dangerous.
Joanna Jones I rode a bike on the pavement, I am sensible I don't ride too fast, I get off and push the bike if there are too many people on the pavement, I have been nearly run over while riding on the road due to dangerous driving.
