DLR inspector punched repeatedly after asking passenger to remove feet from seats

A Docklands Light Railway inspector has been punched repeatedly after asking a woman to take her feet off the seats. The assault happened on a train between Lewisham and Bank stations on 25 September. The inspector initially asked two passengers to remove their dog from the seat.

He then asked a woman to take her feet off the chair. The pair were asked to leave the train at Elverson Road when they failed to produce a ticket. Police are trying to trace a woman seen on CCTV.
