A Docklands Light Railway inspector has been punched repeatedly after asking a woman to take her feet off the seats. The assault happened on a train between Lewisham and Bank stations on 25 September. The inspector initially asked two passengers to remove their dog from the seat.
He then asked a woman to take her feet off the chair. The pair were asked to leave the train at Elverson Road when they failed to produce a ticket. Police are trying to trace a woman seen on CCTV.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
