Clipper teams get ready to race

Clipper Round the World race teams are doing their final preparations at St Katharine Docks before they set sail on their 11 month journey in just under an hour's time.

Record breaking round-the-world sailors Dame Ellen MacArthur and Sir Robin Knox Johnston are at the start of the race to see the teams off.

Sir Robin was the first man to sail solo round the world in 1968, and co-founded the Clipper Round the World race in 1995. In 2005 Dame Ellen broke the record for the fastest solo circumnavigation of the globe.
