A 17-year-old boy has been arrested by police investigating the murder of a 20-year-old man stabbed to death in Homerton, east London.
Lamarni Hylton-Reid was found at the junction of Homerton High Street and Kenworthy Road, Hackney, east London, at 5.10pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but pronounced dead at 6.30pm.
Scotland Yard said last night that the 17-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being held at an east London police station.
Detectives have also arrested a 19-year-old man for assisting an offender.
Messages paying tribute to Mr Hylton-Reid, from Clapton, east London, have flooded on to social networking site Twitter, including one post which said he was stabbed on the way to visit his mother on her birthday
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
