A driver has been handed a suspended sentence, after pleading guilty to killing a 58-year-old cyclist at the Bow roundabout in East London.

Prison sentence for driver 'won't achieve anything'

The widow of a cyclist who died when he was knocked over on a busy junction is calling on the driver of the lorry that hit him to join her in campaigning for safer roads for cyclists.

Lorry driver David Cox was given a six-month suspended sentence this week, after admitting causing the death of Brian Dorling by dangerous driving.
