The leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich Chris Roberts has told ITV London that the regeneration of a notorious estate was "exciting" as the Ferrier Estate had been "stigmatised". Mr Roberts added that it had become an "estate of no choice".
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
