Two women have died following a fire at a house on Purrett Road, Plumstead in the early hours of this morning.

Two women have died in a fire at a house in Plumstead. Five other people needed treatment in hospital after the fire, which broke out just before one o'clock this morning. The cause is being investigated by police and fire officers.
