32 arrested during G8 protests
32 people have been arrested during during the anti-capitalist protests taking place in central London ahead of next week's G8 summit.
Almost 1,200 officers at anti-capitalist London protests
The Met Police say they have made 32 arrests during the anti-G8 summit protests in central London today.
Alleged offences include violent disorder, possession of pointed/bladed articles and a variety of public order offences.
Almost 1,200 officers were on duty as part of today's policing operation.
