Reward offered to catch vandals

A reward has been offered to help catch the vandals who attacked two war memorials.

Crimestoppers, the crime-fighting charity, said it is offering a potentially substantial reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for vandalising the RAF Bomber Command War Memorial and the Animals in War Memorial in Hyde Park, both in London.

The RAF Bomber Command War Memorial, which was created to remember the thousands of RAF crew who lost their lives in the Second World War, in Green Park was vandalised twice in just over a week, this time with the words "Lee Rigby's killers should hang" daubed in red paint..
