Man 'defaces' war memorial

We've had reports that the Bomber Command memorial in central London has been defaced.

Two London war memorials have been defaced by vandals.

The Bomber Command monument in Green Park and the Animals In War memorial were spray-painted overnight. Police are investigating.

Douglas Radcliffe is the Secretary of the Bomber Command Association. He says he's standing at the moment until the graffiti is removed.

He went on to say "I'm very disturbed of course. I can't relate to who's done it."

"If we knew it was going to happen we would have taken some reserve."
