A teenager accused of stabbing a youth to death in north London on his 16th birthday has denied murder. The 15-year-old is accused of killing Derek Boateng while he was on a crowded single-decker bus near Highbury New Park.
Detectives have made a fresh appeal for witnesses to a stabbing on route a bus in Highbury yesterday afternoon. Officers were called to Highbury New Park N5, with the junction of Holmcote Gardens. The 16 year old boy was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
