Police are investigating an incident in which a person was hit by a train at Guildford Station at around 11.40pm on Saturday 30 March.
Our immediate thoughts are for the family of the person involved. We are providing information to assist police with their inquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
As a result of the incident, Guildford Station was closed to allow police to complete their investigation.
However, the station re-opened at 8.15am yesterday (Sunday 31 March) and services returned to normal.
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
