Campaigners fighting against plans to close the A&E and maternity units at Lewisham Hospital are due to hold a final demonstration outside the Department of Health today.

Latest police figures estimate that more than 20,000 marched today to protest against the closure of the Accident and Emergency unit and the downgrading of the maternity unit at Lewisham Hospital. Liz Wickham was there too.
