The Mayor, Boris Johnson, has approved a scheme to redevelop Walthamstow dog track in east London. Campaigners and local MPs had opposed plans, approved by the council in May, to build nearly 300 homes and a leisure centre at the Grade II listed site

Boris 'determined' to see development go ahead

After dealing with hecklers in Bristol who shouted "scum" at Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London answered questions on the future of the Walthamstow dog track. He said he was "determined" to see the development completed.
