A host of celebrities turned out today to pay tribute to hairdressing icon Vidal Sassoon.

A memorial service for Hamersmiths Vidal Sassoon will be held at St Paul's Cathedral. The legendary hairdresser died in May. Sir Michael Caine, Mary Quant and Jeremy Irons are expected to be there.
