Three hit by mobility vehicle at the Olympic park

Three people received minor injuries at the Olympic Park today after being hit by a mobility vehicle.

A Paralympic Games volunteer, a London 2012 security worker and a member of the public were left lying on the floor after being hit in the legs at around 5.30pm.

Police officers attended the incident and provided first aid.

The vehicles are used to transport ticketholders who are unable to walk around the park.

A volunteer Games Maker at the scene of the accident, who did not want to be named, said: "It went backwards into them. I don't know how it happened."
