Duncan Clark, Director of Learning and Children’s Services said:
“I am sure parents and carers whose children attend Tolworth Infants and Nursery School will be assured by the Inquest’s findings that the adventure playground provided a safe and secure environment for the children.
"The Inquest heard that the children were properly supervised and that school staff reacted appropriately in the immediate aftermath of the incident.
“Samuel is still very much in the thoughts of everyone connected to the school.”
The unlicensed events unfolded on Saturday night at Clapham Common and Tooting Bec Common.
A 37 year old man who was taken to hospital after getting into difficulty in a stretch of water near Maidenhead has died.
