Centenary of Royal Flying Corps

The Royal Air Force is well respected as the oldest air force in the world, but even before its formation, brave airmen where defending Britain's skies.

During World War One, the task of bombing the Germans fell to the five squadrons of the Royal Flying Corps, an elite group based in Hampshire.

100 years on, its servicemen are being remembered. Nick Harper has their story.
