Don Banfield murdered by family

The wife and daughter of a man who disappeared 11 years ago have been jailed for his murder.

Don Banfield's body has never been found.

The 63 year old retired bookmaker was last seen in May 2001, when he was finalising the sale of the family home in Wealdstone.

The court was told that his wife Shirley and their daughter Lynette killed him because he planned to start a new life without them and they wanted the money from the house.
