A second teenager has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old boy, Scotland Yard said.

The 17-year-old male will appear in custody at Highbury Magistrates' Court tomorrow accused of stabbing Joshua Folkes to death.

Kreshnik Etemi, 18, from Muswell Hill, appeared at the same court yesterday charged with murder. He was remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.

Joshua, known as Money J, was murdered outside a friend's home in Palmers Green, north London, in the early hours of Tuesday.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of Joshua's death as a stab wound to the chest. A 15-year-old girl arrested in Enfield on Wednesday in connection with the murder has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A teenager has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 17-year-old boy, Scotland Yard said. Joshua Folkes, known as Money J, was stabbed to death outside a friend's home in Palmers Green, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Kreshnik Etemi, 18, of Hill Road, Muswell Hill, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody. He will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday.

Police said they had today arrested another teenager in connection with Joshua's death.

A 17-year-old boy was detained in Clerkenwell this morning on suspicion of murder and remains in custody in east London.

A 15-year-old girl is bailed after boy's murder

A 15-year-old girl arrested following the murder of a teenager in north Lonodn has been bailed. The girl was arrested in the Enfield area yesterday morning. She has been bailed until mid-December.

The girl was arrested in the Enfield area this morning. Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall said:

"We are appealing to the local community about the murder of a boy who was loved by his family. His death has left them devastated. We are appealing to Josh's friends and the community to come forward and help us find his killers. Someone out there must know who is responsible for this murder."

Boy stabbed to death in north London 'was an only child'

Another friend of Joshua Folkes, 17-year-old Saffron Davis, 17, said:

"I've known him for 15 years. I still can't believe it. He went to Christ College. He introduced me to rap music, he listened to everything. I'm going to start crying. He was an only child. He had an uncle though, who he was really close to. I just feel for his mum."

Teen stabbed to death was 'good boy with cutest smile'

He was such a good boy... He had the cutest smile. Although the people who he hanged around with might have been a little bit edgy, he wasn't like that.

He wasn't meant to go like this. We're all just shocked. When I see this, I can't believe it really. I'm just shaken up. I don't know what to do.

Josh was the last person who you'd think would be on the news for a death or something, he wasn't like that. He got caught up in it.

Boy stabbed to death 'never forgotten' by friends

The victim has been named locally as Joshua Folkes, or "Money J" as he was known to his friends. Friends have left cards and flowers at the crime scene. One read:

Rest in perfect peace and you be happy. I hope you're all right up there. Never forgotten.

Another simply said

RIP Josh

There has also been an outpouring of grief on social media. On Facebook, Kate Louise Williams said:

This morning we say good night to Joshua stabbed to death last night our thoughts are with family and friends today.
