Ben Fogle's parents' house involved in Kensington fire
TV presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle has thanked the London Fire Service after he revealed that his parents' house was one of the homes caught on fire at Kensington yesterday.
Crews will remain at scene for some time

London Fire Brigade says:
"The cause of the fire is not known at this stage and crews are likely to remain at the scene for some time damping down any remaining hot-spots and carrying out salvage work."

Fire causes road closure
72 firefighters tackle blaze
Ten fire engines and 72 firefighters and officers are attending a fire at a house under refurbishment on Campden Grove, W8. The whole of the three storey building is alight. Part of the roof of a neighbouring property is also on fire.
London Fire Brigade Station Manager Rhodri Horton, who is at the scene said:
“When crews arrived they were faced with a rapidly developing fire affecting the whole of a three storey house under refurbishment. Firefighters are working hard to bring the fire under control.
"A mother and a daughter from a neighbouring property escaped into their garden. Fire crews used a ladder to get them over a fence and away to safety. Thankfully they were both uninjured.”
