Malcolm Wicks lost his battle with cancer in September, aged 65. He had been an MP for Croydon North for two decades. Voters not registered will have until the 14th November to do so, as the by-election is on 29th November.

Labour had a comfortable majority in this seat at the 2010 general election.
Former minister Mr Wicks held Croydon North with a 16,483 majority.
