Man charged with attempted murder after teenager stabbed near Sixth Form in South east London

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a student was stabbed near Shooters Hill Sixth Form College in south east London.

Emergency services were called to Prince Imperial Road in Woolwich on Monday afternoon.

An 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds before being taken to hospital in a life threatening condition.

The victim is in a stable condition and remains in hospital with non-life threatening and non-life changing injuries.

Oquaine Simpson, 19, of Dacres Road, SE23 has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old girl was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder, she has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
