Murder investigation launched after man dies following 'disturbance' in Acton
The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died in West London.
Emergency services were called to Birkbeck Road in Action shortly after 4am on Sunday following reports of a fight and possible shots were heard from passerby's.
The man believed to be Nash Clyne, 33, died from his injuries at the scene. A post mortem examination is yet to take place.
Three other people were also found injured at the scene but none are thought to be in a life threatening condition.
Lead investigator, Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and my team of experienced detectives is working at pace to establish why Nash was murdered and bring those responsible to justice.
“We are urging anyone who was in the area or who knows anything about what happened to come forward."
Police are urging anyone who was at the Front Line Cuts Barber Shop, 15 Acton High Street, or Paradise Cuts Barber Shop, 94 Acton High Street on the evening of Saturday 7 December from 10:00pm until 4:30am on Sunday to come forward with information.
“What you know, however insignificant it may seem now, could hold the key to this investigation,” added Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie.
A heightened police presence will remain in the area with some cordons staying in place.
