Man walks himself to hospital after being stabbed outside London Underground station
Two people have been arrested after a wounded man turned up at a London hospital with a knife injury. Police say they were called to reports have a stabbing near Ladbroke Grove Underground station in the early hours of this morning (Monday, August 6). Transport for London (TfL) then reported that the stop has been closed whilst officers dealt with an "incident" and officers searched the area. A spokesperson for the authority tweeted: "This station is closed while we help police respond to an incident outside the station. Tickets accepted on local buses." A young man has been treated at a nearby hospital - his injury is not thought to be life-threatening. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "Police were called at about 01:30hrs on Monday, 7 August to reports of a man stabbed on Ladbroke Grove, W10. Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. "A 23-year-old man subsequently self-presented at hospital with a stab injury which is not believed to be life-threatening. "Two men, aged in their 30s, have been arrested in connection with the investigation. An extensive crime scene is in place. Enquiries continue."
