Child rushed to hospital after falling from flat window in East Tilbury, Essex

A child has been rushed to hospital after falling from a flat window in Essex. Emergency services were called to a property in Coronation Avenue in East Tilbury, Thurrock, shortly after 6.30pm on Tuesday (July 5).

It was reported to police that a child, a young boy, had fallen from a window of a property on the road. Residents, who claimed to have witnessed the incident, claimed that the child had fallen from a block of flats. They also reported seeing a large number of emergency service vehicles on the road, as well as an air ambulance.

The child was rushed to the hospital but it is unclear what the condition the boy is at this moment in time. It is also unclear how old he is.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We were called to reports a child had fallen from a window at an address in Coronation Avenue, East Tilbury at around 6.35pm on Tuesday, July 5. Emergency services attended and the child was taken to hospital."

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called to Coronation Avenue at around 6.30pm last night following reports that a child had been injured in a fall. An ambulance, ambulance officer and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended. Crews treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him by road to The Royal London Hospital for further assessment and care."

The child was taken to the hospital but the condition of the boy is unclear and it is not known how old he is.
